Help!! Complex girlfriend issues....?

I honestly need help...I have not always been honest with my girlfriend, I have not always been respectful, I have not always put myself in her shoes but I HAVE sacrificed much to better MYSELF and also be someone better for her. I love her with all my heart and there are many details I won't discuss due to respect for her... So I know this is a difficult question; What can I do when my girlfriend has accepted my past and is willing to work towards a better future BUT is still frustrated and questions her self constantly due to her bad decisions of accepting my bad behavior and not respecting herself in the process? How can I end this torture of the past that haunts her? She has good memory and loves me, truly, but what can I do to make her happier? She says that it is something she must do alone but I will not permit that, I MUST HELP!

chocolate cake help please!?

okays so i decided to bake my sister a vegan chocolate cake and here is the ingredients 1 1/2 cup flour 1 cup white sugar 1/4 cup baking coco powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 salt 1 cup water 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp balsamic vinegar So after baking them in the oven at 350 degrees until the center was done it came out looking absolutely beautiful and smelled great! BUT THEN after I let it cool and took a bite out of it i realized that first, the cake was too soft, (when I tried to take it out of the pan it crumbled too easily) and second of all it was WAAAAYYY too bitter and the sweetness from the sugar was only apparent in the aftertaste. So is there anyway I can alter this recipe to make the cake more dense and durable and also make it NOT BITTER? ESPECIALLY not bitter because it was like eating chocolate soap...to a degree.... I'm not too worried about the sweetness because my sister doesn't particularly like very sweet cakes (hence i'm making a homemade one.) I've decided I'm gonna add some jam to the cake and do a fruit decoration instead of frosting because no one needs extra fat to a birthday cake. :P

Ingredients Butter, for greasing the pans 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for pans 2 cups sugar 3/4 cups good cocoa powder 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1 cup buttermilk, shaken 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 extra-large eggs, at room temperature 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee Chocolate Buttercream, recipe follows Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter two 8-inch x 2-inch round cake pans. Line with parchment paper, then butter and flour the pans. Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and mix on low speed until combined. In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry. With mixer still on low, add the coffee and stir just to combine, scraping the bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool in the pans for 30 minutes, then turn them out onto a cooling rack and cool completely. Place 1 layer, flat side up, on a flat plate or cake pedestal. With a knife or offset spatula, spread the top with frosting. Place the second layer on top, rounded side up, and spread the frosting evenly on the top and sides of the cake. Chocolate Frosting: 6 ounces good semisweet chocolate (recommended: Callebaut) 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature 1 extra-large egg yolk, at room temperature 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder Chop the chocolate and place it in a heat-proof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir until just melted and set aside until cooled

Try substituting apple sauce or mashed bananas for any oil/dairy. I also find that any vegan recipe I've ever made is also on the drier side. Also take out the vinegar for sure. Maybe substitute honey.

Fun to use, kind of messy

Got this for my daughter who has been wanting an Edible Arrangement - and I refused to spend that much money on a few dollars worth of fruit! I was frustrated the kit came with no directions - but we figured it out easy enough. Like others have said, most of the fruit tends to get stuck. The kit comes with a white stick that fits through a hole at the top and you can push the fruit (or sandwiches) out using that. We had to use the stick every single time - the bulb doesn't really push anything out.It is messy - some fruit just got mushy. We had the best luck with watermelon, apples and kiwi. We tried strawberries and pears and oranges: fail. We used what worked and then put grapes in between them on the skewers. Fun and delicious. It didn't cost much and my daughter enjoyed making fruit kabobs with it. She made her own edible arrangement for a picnic. I can see now that cookie cutters would have worked just as well, but we had a good time with it so I am... 4/5 Kim S - See all my reviews This review is from: Collections Etc - Pop Chef - Just Push, Pop And Create Got this for my daughter who has been wanting an Edible Arrangement - and I refused to spend that much money on a few dollars worth of fruit! Very tasty and great quality

Very tasty! I just received my buckets of veggies today. When I opened one of the buckets I realized it comes in 8 serving pouches, so a total of 15 pouches. Serving sizes are a bit small, but this is normal I guess for fruits and veggies. I've always liked how Wise packages their products. I like that I can open the bucket and not effect the 20 year shelf life of the food until you actually open the pouch. We tried the green beans, corn, and prepared some of them in the mushroom sauce and some in the cheese sauce. We noticed they were much bigger than any other freeze dried or dehydrated veggies we've tried. WARNING - MAKE SURE YOU BUY FREEZE DRIED fruits and veggies, NOT DEHYDRATED. Many brands claim to be freeze dried or make you think they are, but if you open it and its hard and shriveled up, its dehydrated. This makes it hard to eat plain and takes forever to rehydrate. I love the freeze dried process cause you can eat them plain (no water and they taste great) You... 5/5 JimB - See all my reviews This review is from: Wise Company Freeze Dried Vegetables and Gourmet Flavored Sauces-120 Servings, 33.8-Ounce (Sports) Very tasty! Great pens for decorating

I love these pens, they are great for decorating fondant pieces, icing, or cookies. The markers are taste-less but are very bright.Edit: I bought these over a year ago and they have lasted a long time, I use them mostly for drawing on fondant and they work great. They slowly started drying out over 3ish months ago but I just dipped them into water to hydrate them. I didn't have to buy a new set till about a month ago when my black pen would no longer work. Overall I think this was a great buy! Lasted a lot longer than I thought it would.Another note: I've had these new markers for about a year and a half and they are still going strong. Before I would take the markers out of the little plastic bag that they come in and have them sitting on my table, after a year they really started drying out. This time I left them in the baggie and always close it (it's like a ziplock baggie) this keeps them from drying out and I haven't had any problems this time around with... 5/5 Ryansmama1607 - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) 7" Red Apple Tissue Decoration

0 5/5 Chandra Slaughter - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 7" Red Apple Tissue Decoration The red tissue apples were awesome. It went perfectly for my "Apple of my eye" themed party. I should have gotten a larger size but this one still worked out well for the event. They are made for hanging I just wished they stood up on their own (as another option) just use a glue gun and attach to a base if you want them for centerpieces :-)I will be using them again for next year's party. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? , October 10, 2013

EDIBLE ART is especially recommended for the cookbook collections of dedicated gourmets!

0 5/5 Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Edible Art: Tricks And Tools for Master Centerpieces (Paperback) Sculpture created from fruit and vegetables sounds too challenging for most home cooks; but not if you have a copy of EDIBLE ART: TRICKS & TOOLS FOR MASTER CENTERPIECES FORM CARVED VEGETABLES. Here are all the hints needed - given in a series of step-by-step color photos with pairs a large-sized photo of the finished product with smaller 1-4 step photos accompanied by text. The approach makes it a snap to produce works of art with a minimum of tools and no knowledge, making it a top pick for culinary libraries at all levels.
